POETRY CORNER – Humm By Fikayo Balogun

Humm

It’s all dark
and my mind is blank
but forward I must go
for the road has parted

Slowly with unsure steps
I sucked in the soft
parted flesh at the door
tossing and fondling.

Then I became bolder
tucking forward
just behind the door
I meet her

“Hello”, I said
“Hi”, she answered
we danced around each other
and we parted ways
going deeper.

Fikayo Balogun.
